Dina Abbott Mergeron died on the show this week

Dina is the first wife of John Abbot and their mother is Jack, Ashley, and Traci Abbott. First exhibited in the 1980s, Adams performed regularly from 1983-1986. The actress continued to appear over the years for several guest appearances until she returned to the show in a regular role again in 2017. In a blessing video released by CBS, Adams officially blessed the all – day soap opera. Jack Bergman, who plays Jack, also spoke about what he learned from Adams, telling the actress himself. “You taught us to be grateful and it has been a valuable lesson that I will teach long after you left here today,” he told her. “Thank you for all you have done in bringing Dina to life. You really left your mark. ”
Beth Maitland also talks about Marla Adams’ departure
In an interview with Insider Tbh, Beth Maitland, who plays Traci Abbott, talked about Adams leaving the show and her stormy career.
“Marla is well signed to create the first ‘rich bitch’ during the day,” she said. “Belle [Adams’ character on The Secret Storm] The first rich vegetation was dominant. Marla then signed. Because Marla had played Natalie Wood ‘s best friend Splendor in the Grass, and had remained friends, RJ [Robert Wagner, Wood’s husband] she was in a program of Hart to Hart. She was one of three beautiful beautiful women dressed in white. At the time, I was working as a throwing assistant on that show. Marla and I have talked many times about that connection between us before we went on to play mother and daughter Y&R. ”
Maitland also talked about how this may not be the last time we see Adams on the show.
“I want to make it clear what she will miss,” she said. “But… you don’t know. People on our show have returned as the conscience of someone or an angel. So we don’t know for sure that it’s over. But she will be greatly missed. I’m glad we’re still friends and will still see each other for lunch dates that are far away. “
