The Star Wars sequel trilogy has become a hot button issue over the last few years. So The Rise of Skywalker it may have failed. After all, fans were pressing for it so The force is waking up it was to the original trilogy and so different The Last Jedi that was what came before it. But for Tran, the fans grew up about the very personal films.
The actor – whose character represents hope and empathy in a divided world – was opposed to online harassment. In fact, she deleted her social media accounts completely. Since then, Tran has spoken out about the tax she is involved in Star Wars she grabbed her. So after all she’s been through with the saw, would Tran host the idea of returning to Rose Tico?
Fans may have seen the last of almost a three-pronged series
As it stands, the Star Wars saga is very much at a crossroads right now. Am Mandalorian the only major film or TV project currently running. And Disney + seems to be the focus for the future of the saga. Of course, Star Wars movies will return at some point. But details are scarce and development – especially through the pandemic – is moving slowly.
That said, Tran is far from the only star trilogy sequel that looks less than willing to promise more Star Wars. Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac have all said they are either done or cagey about returning. With all the online vitriol out there over the saw, it’s possible that fans saw the last of the main throws of the trilogy sequel.
