Given the sexy nature of the show, the boundaries of network television made nudity completely unconventional. With that in mind, The Vampire’s Diary star Ian Somerhalder thought of banning everything if it miraculously meant to stop at one particular subject.

The show featured many hilarious vampires, werewolves, hybrids, witches, doppelgängers, and mixed humans in Mystic Falls, Virginia. And Somerhalder’s alter ego, Damon’s hedonistic vampire, has received many passionate attempts over the decades.
Even though Somerhalder responded truthfully and was not obligated to the picture associated with the drinking question, his curiosity got the best of it, and he decided to taste it anyway.
That was a mistake. The drink, called Purp Alert, was a blend of cranberry juice and blue Gatorade. Somerhalder said the taste was “plummy” and jokingly said, “It could be a medicine. I’m not sure. “
