Charlamagne Tha God Trends and Catches Flak on Twitter as Past Interviews Resurface: ‘Charlemagne Must Be Stopped’

Charlamagne God is perhaps one of the most famous radio guests out there, but it is also considered one of the most controversial. Charlamagne is best known as the “Prince of Pissing People Off,” known for his merciless misconceptions, unprepared candles and ingenious tactics. He recently caught fire after fans began launching what they call some of the worst interviews he has ever conducted, with many believing that his comments were un- appropriate and offensive.

Charlamagne has a history of controversial behavior God has

Since 2010, Charlamagne God has been co-host of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy and Angela Yee. With its help, it has grown into one of the largest and most popular radio programs in the country. But it was also defined as troublesome and “poisonous.”

In the years since the show began, audiences have often criticized Charlamagne Tha God for his ideas and actions. Examples include when he made Lil Mama cry in 2011 after describing his appearance and the level of success, when he apparently tried to get DJ Mister Cee to come out as gay in 2013, and when he laughed while Lil Duval made transphobic comments in 2017.

Other moments in which Charlamagne’s God surfaced over the weekend of Friday, Oct. 2, came when fans began sharing clips on Twitter. As tweets went up, the guest’s name began to move on Twitter, with many criticizing him for past comments.

Has Charlamagne God responded?

Charlamagne God, whose real name is Lenard McKelvey, has not yet commented on the criticism. But it is worth noting that it has tried to be more positive in recent years. He is now using his platform to draw attention to causes such as mental health and wellbeing and seems to be trying to show more respect and love to guests on his show.
