Being one of the most famous couples in the world may be something Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have in common with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but that is not all.
Interestingly enough, the actor’s long-term marriage shares a commonality with Bey and Jay’s marriage. Read on below to find out what it is.
Will and Jada Smith tied the knot in 1997
Will and Jada Smith have a long and stormy relationship. The two first met in 1994 on the set of Prince Fresh Bel-Air, and it was this show that Smith fired to great strength.
Pinkett Smith had interviewed for the part of Smith’s character boyfriend, but she was considered too short. After missing out on the part, Pinkett landed on the sitcom A different world, who was shot in the same studio mast as Smith’s show.
Feeling instantly connected to the native Baltimore when they met, Smith decided he wanted to ask her a date. However, when he looked up at the set of A different world to talk to Pinkett, he ran into Sheree Zampino, who eventually became his wife.
Shortly after Smith and Zampino tied the knot, they welcomed their first child, Trey Smith. But despite starting a life with Zampino, Smith was still attracted to Pinkett and could not shake the feeling that he was married to the wrong woman.
After Zampino split in 1995, the Bad boys the actor began dating Pinkett, and two years later, on New Year’s Eve, the couple exchanged nuptials. In 1998, the actors welcomed their son, Jaden, and a year or two later, their daughter, Willow, was born.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been together since the early 2000s
A few years after Will and Jada Smith reunited, Beyoncé and Jay-Z took their place as the hottest couple in Hollywood when it was announced that they were dating.
Although they had once met in the late 90s, Bey and Jay were not an official couple until the early 2000s. In 2004, the pair went public with their relationship at that year’s BET Awards and have been together ever since.

In April 2008, they tied the knot at an exclusive – and private – wedding ceremony held inside a New York City pub.
Four years later, they welcomed their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Then on June 13, 2017, the couple’s twin, Sir and Rumi Carter, was born.
What do these two couples have in common?
While it is clear that the two couples are above heels in love, one thing they have in common is that the two have publicly dealt with the issues of infidelity in their relationships.
After rumors began to circulate that Pinkett Smith had an affair with R&B singer August Alsina, the actor confirmed at a June 2020 program of Facebook Watch’s Red Table Conversation that she had, of course, a relationship – or “involvement” – with the crofter “No Love”.
Meanwhile, back in 2014, it was speculated that Jay-Z had been cheating on Beyoncé after video footage of Halo singer Sisterge’s sister Solange taking attack the rapper inside an elevator.
Rumors were circulating again in 2016 when Beyoncé came out with her Lemonade a record that had talked about other important dishonesty and also referred to the notoriety of “Becky with good hair.” Rumors of Jay’s infidelity were finally confirmed in 2018 when he admitted to David Letterman that he had been impatient in his marriage.
But despite the fact that deficiencies were causing issues within the marriages of these two couples, it was still possible for them to work through their difficulties and ultimately build a stronger bond.
By talking through their issues and understanding how much they love each other, Beyoncé and Jay-Z and Will and Jada Smith are able to keep their marriages intact. Today, they are an example to all couples out there even though they fall on hard times, love always wins in the end.
