While there are tons of successful youngsters in Hollywood, not many of them can say that they starred on two of their favorite TV shows at the same time. Now aged 34, and a mother of two, Kyla Pratt can say she is rare in Hollywood.
While many of us remember her as young Monica in the love romance drama Love & Basketball or for her work in Dr. Dolittle opposite Eddie Murphy, those films were just at the top of the iceberg for Pratt.
With so many throwback series on various streaming services like Disney + and Netflix, fans are discovering that Pratt worked two-time as two love-loving teenage characters in the early 2000s.
Inside Kyla Pratt’s iconic career
Pratt has been in shows all her life. In the ’90s when she was just eight years old, Pratt, an LA native, became involved in merchandising. That success moved on and it wasn’t long before the actor was getting small roles in a ton of shows including, Friends, Guy glic, Sister, Sister, Family Matters, Lizzie McGuire, Moesha, and The Parkers.
However, her acting career came in 2001 when she starred in the long series One by one, as a progressive teenager Breanna, who lived with her single father. She was also famous for welcoming Penny Proud in the animated Disney Channel series The Proud Family.
Recently, she was seen Black ink team: Compton and into Uncertain.

Pratt’s work on it One by one and The Proud Family surrendered. She starred on the sitcom from 2001 to 2006 opposite Flex Alexander, Kelly Perine, Robert Ri’chard, and Sicily.

And, I did One by one and The Proud Family At the same time. So for me, I was just going to work. It was so much fun. Every time I go past the very important, I am like ‘One by one it was a lot of fun ‘. I did 113 shows of a television show, not many people can say that. ”
