Jaden Smith Got Upset With a Fan For Using 1 of His Movie Character’s Names: ‘I Have to Talk to My People About That’

We know Jaden Smith for his eccentric tweets, wild fashion, and great music. But before he became superstitious, young Smith starred in films with his father, Will Smith. The two father-sons were inside After Earth in 2013.

After the film was released, Jaden answered fan questions in an interview. And he didn’t seem to be happy when a fan grabbed his After Earth the name of the character to ask questions. Here is what happened.

Jaden and Will first worked together in 2006 Pursuing happiness. After that success, they took it a step further After Earth in 2013. Will plays General Cypher Raige who builds a bond with his son, Kitai, as they overcome their difficulties when their plane crashes to a relatively hospitable Earth.

Jaden and Will sat down with Cambio to talk about the film back in 2013, too. “I started thinking about something Jaden and I could do it together,” Will explained. “After Earth it came out of it. ”

Jaden thought it was very interesting that Will wrote it as the star of the film. “Because he wrote that for me, it meant a lot,” Jaden explained.

“This is our family business,” Will continued. “It’s how I was raised. I was brought up right next to my mum and dad working in the family business. ”

Jaden was upset when a fan used the character’s name ‘After Earth’ as a fan name

While After Earth flopped by critics, it certainly did not mean much for Will and Jaden to have a film that involved so much quality connection between them. As the father and son talk about the film, they put their hearts and souls into making something fun for themselves. And this may have made Jaden very defensive when it came to fans taking his character’s name as a social media name for themselves.

Jaden sat down with Cambio in 2013 to answer fan questions. The interviewer started the question by saying who is asking. And when she starts the question by saying, “This guy is from Kitai,” he dismisses Jaden.

“Kitai?” Jaden asked curiously. “Did they take that name? Will we let them take that name? He asked his team angrily. “I need to talk to my people about that.”

The interviewer continued with the question, which was, “What is the hardest thing about acting?”

“Probably the hardest thing about acting and being mindful is when you make a character and people take your character’s name, as on social media,” Jaden said. This caused a bit of a funny laugh from the interviewer and others on the set.

Many believe that Jaden has too much right

Jaden seemed genuinely upset that a fan had adopted “Kitai” as his own fan name. The young actor is certainly entitled to his feelings, but critics have previously called him out for fair, pompous behavior. Many seem to think that Jaden is pretentious because of the lack of rules he was growing up with.

“Damaged? Too soft, ”wrote one critic am Post New York. “These children are nuclear narcissists. The older Smiths may have boycotted the Oscars because they were unnamed, but they were boys because they couldn’t bother raising children with any foundation. ”

The critic went on to call Willow Smith’s tweets “vapid and humor. “And the article included quotes from Willow and Jaden where they pointed out that they don’t like music and books a lot because they can create better art themselves.

Anyway, we’re not sure if Jaden is still confused about the fan using “Kitai” as his name. But hopefully he has moved past it and sees it as a smooth thing now!
