Seann Counting on Star Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, recently released a series of Q&A videos to give fans an insight into their post-TV life. The couple has explained why they walked away from her family’s TLC show. Jill has admitted that she never gets along with all her brothers. Now, the mother of two has made her distance from her famous family even further. Has Jill changed her political views since she broke away from her parents?
The ‘Counting On’ stars are famous for their conservative political views
Jill’s parents are fundamentalist Christians who raised their 19 children almost cut off from the secular world. While Duggar’s family travels and interacts with their Arkansas community, Jim Bob and Michelle don’t regularly expose their children to non-Biblical things. This includes the festival they eat, their educational materials, and the people with whom they interact socially.
Jim Bob and Michelle’s strict rules and beliefs also influence their politics. Both have been vocal in previous elections as supporters of the Republican party. They have campaigned for socially conservative candidates like Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum. Michelle even offered her voice for robocalls that some said were transphobic and anti-LGBTQ.
From 1999 to 2002, Jim Bob was an elected member of the Arkansas House of Representatives. And in 2020, Jed, Jill’s little brother, is running for state representative as a Republican.
In the forthcoming election, those in the family who are old enough to vote seem to support Donald Trump. Elderly daughter Jana shared a pro-Trump post on social media. And 20-year-old Jason had just been very creative with his “garden artwork” in support of POTUS.

Mar Gossip Hollywood she noticed, Jill Jana’s older sister posted a video of her YouTube channel on Oct. 5. In the four-minute video titled “Yard Artwork” Jason, Ja and Jill’s little brother Jason go to work with a water machine.
Jason is in the front yard of Jim Bob and Michelle’s Arkansas. He uses the garden tool to carve “Trump 2020” into the grass.
“Kamala is beloved, Donald is made with fear and wonder. Mike is very popular, Joe is important enough that I died for him, ”read the post.
Presented as a quote credited to Christ Jesus, Jill added the hashtag # Jesus2020. She wrote above, “That’s a good memory for us all, and a heart study for me.” She also put a yellow arrow with “this” written on it.
Jill did not write the quote or create the image. She shared the post from Derick’s sister-in-law, Deena Dillard. The previous one Counting on star did not officially choose sides. But she accepted submissions and comments that her parents would never endorse.
