Comic-Con New York welcomes The Walking Dead team and crew

Comic-Con New York was packed with a superstitious ‘The Walking Dead’ panel. Photographers Daryl and Carol Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride joined the conversation. Also in the video chat were Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Khary Payton, and Paola Lázaro, who features Negan, Ezekiel, and the Princess. As an added bonus, Walking dead World Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple and presenter Angela Kang assembled the panel, modeled by Speaking dead guest Chris Hardwick.

Fortunately for avid fans, there is plenty of background information from the Commonwealth comics. according to the walking Dead blog on AMC.com, “The Commonwealth is a block of communities, with around 50,000 members. They enjoy solemn technology (for the apocalypse) and live across a range of cities and geographical areas. They have their own armaments with advanced weapons, and they even have their own area where they hold sporting events and concerts for the connected cities. ”

While the walking Dead series inspired by the graphic novels, the narrative is known to be away from the source material. It remains to be seen whether the Commonwealth is meant to help or harm the main group of characters. But viewers can look forward to seeing how it all plays out in six bonus programs of the walking Dead Season 10, coming soon to AMC.
