‘Property Brothers’ Fans Think the Brothers are Like ‘Human Sheetrock’

The property brothers may not have known when they entered the real building, but they would have the perfect credentials for the show itself. Fans love home renovation shows and home buying shows, and Property Brothers there are both. Jonathan Scott will do the upgrade, and Drew Scott is a licensed Real Estate Agent. They were ready to combine a home buying display and a home renovation in one engaging series.

‘Property Brothers’ is an HGTV hit

The Scott couple have been on TV since 2011. That’s when their first show, Property Brothers, aired. He left quickly. The couple help discontinued homeowners in their research and sales. They need to move the show quickly, so the Scots score families who know what they want from their building. Drew then tries to find something that fits their needs. That usually gives the family everything they want without going over budget.

However, when Jonathan starts using his contracting skills to renovate the home for sale, the budget usually starts out. Jonathan almost always seems to experience at least one unexpected accident while doing an upgrade. However, the brothers are working hard to keep the families on display within their budget, even if it means Jonathan has to get his hands dirty. Jonathan rarely gets to jump in and really build on the show, which is a problem for some fans.

The show is very popular, but not all HGTV fans like ‘Property Brothers’

Recently Reddit thread, fans complained about Jonathan being a “false contractor.” A post saying “Property Brothers is the channel’s biggest deceiver” got a lot of fans talking. Some fans see Jonathan as “never dirty, unsullied, without turning tools” as a sign that he’s not really a contractor, just a TV personality. And as far as his personality goes, some fans don’t like that either.

When one fan commented that a lot of TV contractors are more personal than contractors, another fan replied “I agreed with that if they had personalities. They are a good human leaf. “That is a disgrace to Jonathan and Drew, but more than one fan felt strongly about them. Many fans claim that the brothers are actors, not real estate experts as they seem. They seem to have done a great job strengthening this claim for some. One fan wrote “Yep, they’re actors. They had short-term acting careers prior to HGTV. They seemed to have hit it big when they came ashore Property Brothers. They are not contractors or interior designers, all of these people are behind the scenes. They seem to be good TV personalities. I think that’s why you see them doing crossover things on Food Network, they sometimes appear as judges on some shows. ”

Other fans defend Jonathan and Drew Scott

Some Redditors were defending Scott’s twin in the thread. For some, it doesn’t matter if they are professional contractors or not. They’re fun to watch, and that’s all that matters when it comes to television. One fan commented “Whether they are contractors or designers I like them as people, so I watch their shows. All of them, I love Brother vs Brother so far this season. “

Others argue that Jonathan is a legitimate contractor, even if he does not get his hands dirty for the purpose of the show. A fan replied: “Jonathan Scott is a contractor. He hires a local contractor who manages the crew on a set, so the equipment belt is clean, but nonetheless he is a contractor. ”The fan explained that Jonathan’s success has allowed him to stay out of manual work, but that success is the result of a lot of hard work.

according to HGTV, the fan is right – Jonathan is a licensed contractor, and Drew is indeed a realtor.
