Although there is plenty to pack in the Evening hemisphere, most fans of the franchise are delighted with the love triangle between vampire, Edward Cullen, mortal, Bella Swan, and werewolf, Jacob Black. Fans were divided into two camps: Team Edward and Team Jacob, each camp giving reasons why Bella should end their favorite character. But, even the most loyal Evening a fan might not have expected Jacob to end up with Bella and Edward’s baby, Renesmee.
Even though fans are The Evening Saga couldn’t picture Jacob ending up with Renesmee, the half-human, Cullen half-vampire Stephanie Meyer (who wrote the four books in the series) who introduced idea in the third book, “Eclipse”, as a way Jacob’s best friend and fellow hero, Quil Ateara. Jacob explains to Bella that Quil has impressed Emily Young’s niece, Claire Young. While Bella is uncomfortable with the idea, Jacob reassures her that Quil’s feelings are anything but romantic, even though they grow like that when Emily grows up.
‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner was confused by how Jacob was first published
But even if Meyer explained the concept of print, it was still a strange concept for fans to cover their heads. This was especially true after Jacob persuaded a newborn Renesmee. Many fans of The Evening Saga felt that Meyer had managed to ruin the series with that option. In fact, even Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob Black in the movies, had a hard time getting used to Jacob’s first print.
“I remember the first time I read the book, the fourth,” Lautner recalled in an interview with Collider, where he spoke of the final round Evening film. “The fourth book came out, and I was like, ‘Okay, what’s going to happen? What’s going to happen? Is Edward going to end with Bella? Is Jacob going to end up with Bella? ‘And I was so upset. I was like, ‘Wait. He tries to get Bella all the time, and knocks out until he joins his baby? ‘It took a second. ”
Lautner shared that Bill Condon was good at capturing Jacob’s feelings for Renesmee on camera
Although Lautner was confused at first, he came around to the idea. As soon as he realized that imprinting wasn’t very romantic, he was able to wrap his head around Jacob and Renesmee’s connection. The Evening the star also shared Bill Condon, its director, Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Breaking Dawn – Part 2, ”The audience helped to better understand Jacob’s feelings for the child.
“But no, it’s very… you have to walk lightly because it’s a very special thing, and it’s not romantic at all,” the Evening star added about Jacob affecting baby. “So we definitely had to film in a certain way, and I think Bill did an amazing job with that. ”It’s no surprise that Lautner, like many fans, felt it was strange that Jacob ended up with his best friend’s child. Fortunately, he was able to find a way to make a strange situation more excruciating than it basically was.
