Happy birthday (belated), Gwen Stefani!
The “Luxurious” crofter celebrated her 51st birthday on October 3, receiving a collection of celebratory messages from fans and peers alike. Blake Shelton was among those who publicly submitted birthday wishes, but that was not the case. Here ‘s more of Stefani’ s big day and how she and Shelton were celebrating.
Blake Shelton did something sweet for Gwen Stefani on her 51st birthday
Going to Instagram on October 3, Shelton first started things off in homage to Stefani, which he started dating back in 2015 after meeting her on the singing competition show The Voice.
He shared a photo that showed him playing an acoustic guitar in a cornfield while Stefani laughed and approached him. Taking the image, Shelton wrote, “It is a special day for a special woman in my life. Happy birthday @gwenstefani, I would write you a song every day if I could… ”
Taking it a step further, he surprised the “Just a Girl” singer with it bouquet of brightly colored flowers. Stefani seemed to like the birthday surprise, as she looked off and ran over the floral arrangement on her own Instagram page. “Thank you for all the best wishes! gx, ”she said in a separate Instagram post.
“We made a lot of fun stuff,” she continued. “We did a lot of cooking. I learned how to make sourdough bread like everyone else; it took me like a month to get started right. We did so much stuff. We built a garden. We planted zinnias. I mean, we planted thousands of zinnia flowers. There’s a lot of stuff you dream about doing that you never have time to do. ”
Crouching in, Shelton seemed tired as he recounted details of other family quarantine experiences, including jam. “There were so many (peaches), and there was nothing else to do, we got online and learned how to make jam,” he explained. “And we did it as cases of peach jam. I may not do that again, but now I know how to do it. “
While this is no doubt a difficult time in the world, Stefani and Shelton seem to have found ways to make the most of it. Happy Birthday to you again, Gwen!
