Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata have always been on the verge of relationship troubles. But on the fifth season of TLC’s 90 day testimonial: Satisfied after, their marital affairs seemed to be going up more than ever, struggling under the pressure of in – law drama, financial difficulties, and the parenting pressure of two young boys.
In particular, Kalani was fighting hard with Asuelu’s mother, Lesina, and his sister, Tammy, when she visited Washington. Asuelu’s mother even suggested that her son separate Kalani and leave his children behind if he did not send any money back to his home country of Samoa. Meanwhile, Tammy tried to physically assault her sister-in-law after one of their biggest controversies.
On Part 2 of the Fian 90 days Tell-All, hosted by Shaun Robinson on Oct. 4, Asuelu’s mother’s stance took a dramatic turn. She even suggested that Kalani was on the right side when it came to her son’s careless pattern. Meanwhile, Kalani’s mother and sister pushed back against Asuelu’s “stock” during the Tell-All period, saying his behavior was unsatisfactory and “disgraceful”. ”
The Kalani family pushed back against Asuelu COVID-19 options
On Part 1 of the Fian 90 days Tell-All, Kalani ‘s mother, Lisa Faagata, and his sister, Kolini Faagata, complained that Asuelu was often self – centered – especially in terms of his view of COVID-19.
Kalani revealed that she had initially kicked Asuelu out of the house because of his behavior during the COVID-19 crisis. During the pandemic, Asuelu would still play volleyball with his friends six days a week, usually without wearing a mask. He also taught Samoan dance lessons to groups.
“For all the money it makes against how many people are around, it’s not worth the risk,” lamented Kalani.
At the same time, Kalani’s mother was particularly worried about how he might develop COVID-19 due to her heart condition.
“I feel careless,” Lisa told Robinson about her husband’s choices during the pandemic. “It’s irresponsible, time. He wants to do what he wants to do. He doesn’t care about anyone else but himself, time. ”
Kalani’s sister strongly agreed with her mother’s assessment. “Once you reach a certain age, it’s hard to teach someone to be sensible and think about others,” Kolini said, adding: “I can’t think without thinking about your family at first. ”
In fact, both Lisa and Kolini revealed that they did not believe that Kalani and Asuelu’s marriage would last because of her “self-centeredness.” ”
“It’s not going to last,” said Lisa. “She doesn’t put up with this stuff. No way. ”
“Will I see them together in the future?” Kolini mused. “No. No.”
Asuelu’s mother apologized to Kalani
on the Fian 90 days Tell-All Part 2, Asuelu’s mother joined the discussion. Surprisingly, she sided with Kalani in the argument over the COVID-19 crisis. Lesina even apologized for what she said about Asuelu and Kalani ‘s marriage.
“I love my son, and I’m sorry for what I say,” Lesina said. “I do not want Asuelu to lose his son and wife, and the beautiful family, with Kalani and Lisa’s mother and father. Everyone is so kind and very kind to me. You are so kind as my poor son. ”
After Kalani Asuelu was kicked out, Lesina explained, she was surprised to learn that he would put his children, Oliver and Kennedy, at risk for getting the virus.
“He came here [to] visited me, and talked to me that something had happened to him and Kalani, ”said Lesina. “He told me everything, and I was so horrified. ”
Lesina warns her son to ‘focus on his family’
Asuelu’s mother went on to explain that she had advised her son to stay at home, wear a mask, and follow social distance guidelines to keep his family safe.
“Stop going to the volleyball,” Lesina advised Asuelu. “Stop going to the dance. Stop going everywhere. Stay home. ”
The Fian 90 daysit A star said she had convicted her son for being careless, pushing her to step up for his wife and two sons.
“Take care of your wife and children, because now you are here in America,” Lesina said. “You’re not a boy. You are a big man now. So you will have a better focus on your family, especially your children. ”
While Kalani told Robinson that she had apologized to Lesina, she seemed emotionally exhausted in the expectation that she would continue the conflict.
“I always apologize to his mother,” he said Fian 90 days said a half-hearted star. “I’m very happy to have a relationship with her. We’ll leave it at that. “
Kalani’s mother cited Asuelu’s response to the ‘disgraceful’ conversation
Robinson moved from talking about the past to asking Kalani about how she felt about her marriage in the present. Unfortunately, Kalani admitted, little had changed in her relationship with Asuelu. In fact, she revealed that she often hindered her number and social media handling when they were fighting.
“Basically everything I still feel,” Kalani shuddered, adding that she often felt a “torn” between the Asuelu she loved so much and the Asuelu she didn’t. “Without knowing how to feel. ”
Kolini shook in, arguing that it was difficult to advise her sister about what to do when Asuelu would not proactively work on the marriage himself.
“Relationships can work out if you have someone who is willing to work on themselves,” Kalani’s sister said. “But if you have someone who isn’t willing to do that, you don’t have sympathy, you have to look at that.”
Kalani’s mother started tearing up. When Robinson asked Lisa why she was so shaken by the conversation, Lisa told the Fian 90 days a guest who could not believe that Asuelu was so lonely and silent against his wife ‘s grief.
“It’s sitting there stock,” Lisa lamented. “Nothing. It’s just a shame. Now I’m angry at looking at it, giving nothing. ”
In response, Asuelu finally stood up, took away his son, and left – as he had tried to do once before in an earlier portion of the Fian 90 daysit Tell everyone.
“Again,” Kolini complained, rolling her eyes. “Point confirmed.”
Kalani looked horrified when she looked around for her husband and realized that he had, of course, left the house. She said sadly to the other man Fian 90 daysit adding that this was often used when he received “any kind of criticism.”
