Snoop Dogg may have a strong disdain for President Donald Trump, but he even felt compelled to reach out to Trump after his coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnosis. After breaking news that the president and his wife Melania had caught the virus, Snoop Dogg took to social media with a message sending him prayers and positive energy.
What Snoop Dogg said directly to President Donald Trump after his coronavirus diagnosis
After learning about their terms, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram on October 3 to send good wishes to Trump and Melania. He kept the message short and simple as he wrote, “Prayers to the President and the First Lady,” along with a folded hand emoji and an American flag emoji.
His post came hours after Trump announced on Twitter Friday, Oct. 2 that he and Melania had been positive for coronavirus, which has been wiping out the country since earlier in 2020, suffers more than seven million people and leaves more than 200,000 dead (via The New York Times).
He said, “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We’ll get through this so far! ”Entering ongoing tweet, Trump noted that he would be receiving treatment at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before thanking supporters for their good wishes.
A day later, NPR A source said in a statement, “The president’s energy over the 24 hours has been a major concern. But Trump updated himself via Twitter the same day saying, “I feel great! ”
Snoop Dogg’s message to Trump is horrific, with their history
The post has garnered more than 400,000 views and 10,000 views, with many fans expressing shock at the message over Trump’s Snoop Dogg history. In the years since his 2016 election, Snoop Dogg has become one of the president’s strongest critics, aiming for everything from the 35-day government shutdown in 2019 to his attacks on others.
Snoop Dogg recently posted a message on YouTube on September 8 calling on Trump to “respect all colors of the world and all that is not as it is, which is hate- decision. ”
“That said, the people who voted for him got what they wanted,” he continued. “They gave them what he said it was impossible to do. So, next motherf * cker, you better tell us what we’ll get for your vote. You better show up and deliver, time. We just want a little peace, love, equality and peace for all. All life. Just a basic conversation. Continue now. ”
As the day of the 2020 election approaches, Snoop Dogg is also divided that he will be voting for the first time ever.
“This is the first election I am voting for,” he said in a recent video. “As the system was set up, I honestly didn’t know I was allowed to vote based on my previous history. My album has been released so I’m going to be out this pick. I have to get involved. He added that he was motivated to vote because he could not “stand to see this punk in office for another year.”
